Inside Look of: "A$AP Rocky Is The Main Character"

Take an introspective look inside A$AP Rocky's life and live through the gritty streets of Harlem through a 'in-his-own-words' Documentary style video of ASAP Rocky's career and Harlem upbringing with A$AP Mob.

On December 18th, 2024, Winterhill releases its first Special, "A$AP Rocky Is The Main Character" - a Documentary style YouTube video about the gritty upbringing of Rakim Mayers, widely known as 'A$AP Rocky'.

This video in itself was a challenge as it was made exclusively with sound-bites from ASAP Rocky himself, sourced from years of content found online and sewn together in a way where Rocky tells his own story from his own perspective. This differentiates from the wide array of other Documentary style content which often features voice-over narration.

I was originally inspired to make this video by meeting Rocky at an AWGE x PUMA Collection release event in New York City on September 26th. I am very lucky to have previously worked with Lucius Firmin who got me in contact with Deon Point from CNCPTS, who desperately needed a Videography team to follow him to SoHo and capture this invite-only AWGE x PUMA event.
